As founder and President of Private Portfolios, Inc., Bob Binn brings more than 35 years of financial services industry experience to the firm. A graduate of UC Berkeley (Class of 1966), Bob is a 30-year resident of Foster City and serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Service Agency of San Mateo County and the San Mateo/Foster City Community Education Foundation. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and is a Registered Principal with Securities America, Inc.

Bob likes to reference a certain phrase: "Honesty and integrity are absolute." He is also an educator; he has taught classes in financial planning and investment management through the College of San Mateo`s adult education program since 1979.

Dan Binn has spent his entire professional career helping high net worth individuals and businesses make financial and investment decisions. A 1996 graduate of UCLA, he developed his comprehensive investment counseling background within the investment divisions of two major banks in Beverly Hills. Dan joined Private Portfolios, Inc. in 2000 as Director of the firm`s Private Client Group, and in 2002 was promoted to Vice President. He is a Registered Representative with Securities America, Inc.

Dan adopts a "work hard, play hard" philosophy. Recreationally, it means working out, skiing, playing basketball, softball, and golf.
